Mongo DC and Thanksgiving

Paul & I will be heading to DC for a one day conference on MongoDB – a no-SQL database that bridges the gap between key-value stores (which are fast and highly scalable) and traditional RDBMS systems (which provide rich queries and deep functionality). It should be an extremely timely learning opportunity given our current client list for LynxTDC. Not necessarily a “direct connect” to our new Environmental Consulting business – All Things Being Green – but I’m sure it will be of benefit on one level or another.

The week after our trip to DC is Thanksgiving. As far as we know, it will be Paul, me and my dad for dinner. Somehow our full traditional dinner seems to be a bit over the top for this year but I’m not sure how exactly to scale it back. We may be eating leftovers until after New Years.
